GIS-package

MOSMAP-GIS software is intended to input cartographic information. MOSMAP-GIS includes the detailed map of Moscow or other region (the map of Saint-Petersburg, the map of Nizhny Novgorod, the map of Kazan, the map of Yekaterinburg, the map of Perm, the map of Rostov-on-Don, the map of Samara, the map of Saratov, the map of Ufa, the map of Volgograd, the map of Voronezh, the map of Nerungri, the map of Yerevan, the map of Bobruisk). The system comprises features of editing this information and opportunity to input user's information in the given map with an option of creating new layers, styles of object image and classifiers.

Besides MOSMAP-GIS software starting from 4.0 version has logistics function that allows measuring optimal route between several points.

The interface is based on MOSMAP's interface (scaling, search etc.), which is advanced by GIS functions (the editing of information, classifiers processing, style library, layers adjusting, map's relation to other programs and databases etc.).

Three types of the program are developed:

MosMap-Integrator version is intended for users, who want to integrate their own program or database with our map.
As a rule the users of this program's version are software developing companies and major companies which have their own software programmers.

The options of the program interface (API):

• Active-X component for plugging the map in other programs.
• OLE-components for launching the map in the separate window and controlling it.
• The output of any part of the map in any scale.
• The marking of the objects by signs of different shape, color and size or icons.
• The function package for marking lines, survey loops and designations in the map.
• The feedback in the form of reception of the events about user's actions on the map.
• The determination of the shortest route taking into account traffic regulations.
• The determination of the optimal order of travelling through several points.
• Getting the information of mutual disposition of the objects and entering of one object into another.
• Getting the information of all the map's objects including names and coordinates.
• The possibility of simultaneous working in geographical coordinates and metric system, the setting of own coordinates system.

MosMap-Editor version allows editing the existing cartographical data (houses, streets, cities, bodies of water, forests and other similar objects), adding unique objects and/or layers of cartographical information by personal data. This is a full editor of vector maps, with the help of which you can input any information in the map to the extent of creating your own map of any territory.

• The displaying of cartographical layers (buildings, borders of the blocks, green belts, water bodies, rail roads and stations, bridges, streets, metro stations, industrial sites etc.) in any scale with opportunity to adjust the displaying parameters (order of layers displaying, colors and styles of lines and filling, fonts of the notes, library of signs etc.)
• The measuring of the distances.
• Tabs for map fragments.
• Print output of the desired map fragment.
• Page printing or saving in file for the following printing.
• Saving of the desired map fragment in file of BMP format.
• Creating new cartographical layers.
• Editing, creating and deleting map objects.
• Raster-type background picture, fixed to the map's point and scaled with the map.
• Copying the objects between layers.
• The measuring of the shortest route in the streets of the city taking into account traffic regulations (one-way road, "do not enter" sign or turn prohibitions, "no trucks" sign).
• View of the route on the map or as the list of the streets.

MosMap-Professional version includes functions of the mentioned applications.
